What Happened in Vegas Won’t Stay There: AI, Agents, and the Future Unfolding at Google Cloud Next '25
Tech Turns a Corner (And We Were There to See It)
I’ve been in this game a long time, and I’ve seen my fair share of tech hype. But what Google pulled off at Cloud Next 2025 wasn’t just hype. It was a signal. AI isn’t coming, it’s here, and it’s ready to build with us.
Our Zazmic crew hit Las Vegas with big expectations and left with even bigger ideas. From day one, it was clear: this event was a checkpoint for the future of business, cloud, and intelligence.
Ironwood and the Machines That Think
Let’s start with the big muscle: Google’s 7th-gen TPU, Ironwood: 42.5 exaflops of pure AI horsepower. Of course, they introduced it on day 1.
Why should you care about it?
Because this is the muscle behind the AI revolution. More power means faster training, faster inference, and frankly, more possibilities for all the incredible generative AI applications we're seeing and building. This is the "AI Hypercomputer" they talked about – foundational stuff that changes the game.
Agents Are the New Apps
Day two flipped the script. Google rolled out the Agent Development Kit, Agent Engine, and Agentspace. From now on, this is your new AI toolbox full of solutions that let agents collaborate, reason, and execute tasks like digital co-workers.
And it’s not just interesting; it’s immediately usable. We’re already sketching out ways to drop these into client workflows to speed up decisions, reduce manual effort, and create entirely new digital experiences.
The Oz Moment: Creativity Meets Code
Of course, Google Cloud Next wasn't all about raw processing power and agents. Google showed off how AI is getting creative. Veo 2.0 (for video) and Chirp 3 (for audio) are now public. And they announced Lyria, a new model specifically for music generation.
Demos are good, but if you want to show the real power of AI in the creative field, you need to impress, and Google knows how to do that. Together with DeepMind and Sphere Entertainment, they took “The Wizard of Oz” and remade it with 16K visuals, real-time AI, and immersive sound.
It was an experience that bent reality. This wasn’t just another 15-minute demonstration, it was proof that AI can do more than automate. It can inspire. And if you’re in media, gaming, or anything visual, this is the future calling.
Our Clients, Center Stage
Okay, I have to brag a little. Seeing our clients on stage was a highlight for the whole team. DriveHealth, Newsweek, Altumatim, and Moii.ai – they all shared their stories, showcasing the real-world impact of the work we're doing together using Google Cloud tech.
There's nothing quite like seeing the solutions you've helped build making a real difference, and having that validated on a global stage like Next. It's incredibly energizing for the team. It's why we do what we do.
From Show Floor to Showstopper
Some demos just stick with you. Here are a few that had us nodding hard:
AI Basketball – Shoot, get coached in real-time by Gemini. The future of personal training is already here.
Veo Studios – Turn your napkin sketch into a hyper-detailed visual. Creative AI just got seriously useful.
Dial an App – Describe it, and AI builds a prototype. HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Boom.
Agent2Agent – A new open protocol that lets different AI agents talk to each other. Huge for long-term system integration.
The Tech That’s Changing the Game
Google has made some huge announcements during this year's Cloud Next conference. So, let’s do a quick-fire round on what really matters going forward:
Ironwood TPUs – The new baseline for serious AI workloads.
Vertex AI with Gemini 2.5 Pro & Flash – Models that can think deeper and faster.
Generative Media Models (Veo 2.0, Chirp 3, Lyria) – Video, voice, music: AI is officially creative.
Google Unified Security – Finally, AI-powered cybersecurity that covers everything.
Cloud WAN – Smarter, cheaper, global-scale connectivity.
Mark my word, this is the deployment-ready tech that will change your business in the near future. And Zazmic is already helping companies integrate it, so if you want to stay ahead, you know whom to call.
Happy Hour, Real Talk
No big event is complete without one thing: conversations that matter. We wrapped up the week with a packed happy hour at Public House — clients, Googlers, and a few future partners.
Business cards were swapped, ideas traded, futures sketched. These off-stage moments are often the most powerful because that’s where partnerships begin.
What It Means for Us and for You
We sent nine of our best to Cloud Next. They came back fired up. What we saw wasn’t just next-gen AI, it was the dawn of a new way of working, building, and seeing the world.
At Zazmic, we’ve always been on the edge of what’s next. We partner with the best — Google included — not just to keep up, but to help shape what’s coming. And this year? It’s going to be huge.
Let’s Build Something Together
Inspired? You should be. This isn’t the time to wait. It’s time to experiment, test, and go.
We can help you do that. Let’s talk about what this next generation of AI can mean for your business.
